Woodford International School offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). This two-year course is offered in our Year 9 and 10 classes (IGCSE 1 and IGCSE 2). The IGCSE is predominantly exam-based with exams that test knowledge in individual subjects. Over the last two weeks of May, IGCSE 2 students took ‘mock exams’ in preparation for the real IGCSE exams in October/November. The question is though, why do we put our students through this?
